Anderson performs at Mozart Celebration

Ian will perform as part of the celebration of Mozart's 250th birthday January 14, 2006 as part of the "Spirits of Mozart." Ian will play a Mozart selection with the "Rubbers" and orchestra. Broadcast is scheduled for January 27th.

"Spirits of Mozart" will explore fresh, new aspects of Mozart’s music through the genres of classical music, jazz, pop and folk. International stars of pop and jazz, first-class musicians and outstanding ensembles, will make this one the most important Crossover concerts of the Mozart Year 2006.

The mammoth TV event "24 hours Mozart" is a tribute to the world’s greatest musical genius, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his birth in 1756. The broadcast on 27 January 2006 via satellite from the Mozart City of Vienna represents the media highlight of the Mozart Year 2006.
